I know, I am a bad blogger.  Today  I had my marketing knuckles rapped by Mr. Chris Mak, agent and promoter for our Tom Wilson Show, A Cast of Thousands, which opens next Wednesday,  February 1st.

When Chris first got in touch with me I admit I almost deleted his email, it read a bit like one of those emails that tell you you've one the lottery just because you have an email address.  I decided though that I had nothing to lose and so I met with Chris a few days later and  the result is a four day exclusive show of Tom's artwork with a little concert thrown in for good measure!

So I guess my excuse for being such a bad blogger is that I've been busy, well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  Actually I've been thinking about writing the blog for at least the last week, but there always seems to be something just a little more pressing.  How does a person make time for blog writing, facebook updating, twitter tweeting, general emailing as well as the myriad of other tasks that I find myself faced with most days?  I guess I just do.  My apologies Mr Mak, I resolve to do better and get back to my once a week updates.

I can hear you all asking "what is all this other stuff that keeps you so busy?"  Well besides the onslaught of social media and Tom Wilson's show I am planning a show for Oksana Zhelisko and Joe Reimer called "Love and Other Myths" which opens Thursday February 9th. Then we have Bernadette McCormack coming into the Gallery in March for her Beatles inspired show "Songs on the Wall".  Also in March we're hosting a Felting Workshop (Saturday March 10th) with Tracey Kuffner where you'll learn how to create your very own Scarflette.  There's more, but I'll save that for another day - gotta go my twitter account is calling me!

Happy Wednesday

Karen
